Sales Tax
Applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases shipped to California.

Taxes, Customs and Duties
All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. Please note that in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

Currency Conversion
All prices listed on our site are in US dollars, and charged in US dollars. The bank that has issued your credit card determines the exact exchange rate that you will pay, but in general it will match very closely with the going exchange rates. Payment Options
We currently accept payments through PayPal and all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) through Stripe.

If you happen to be using the eCheck feature, please note that there is a slight delay in bank transfers and may affect when your lacquers will be shipped.

Please ensure that your PayPal address matches the email address listed when you checkout to prevent any delays in processing your order.

Shipping
We will always try to offer fast shipping, but just in case please allow 4-5 business days to process and ship your order.

Your order will be shipped via USPS first class mail or Priority depending on its weight.  Shipping costs are calculated based on shipping service as well as reasonable packaging costs to ensure that your lacquers come to you safe and ready to use.  All domestic (within the US) orders will come with a delivery confirmation number so that you will know when your order has been delivered.

By placing an order with Heist & Co., you are responsible for original shipping charges and the cost of return shipping back to Heist & Co. This also applies to any shipments that are refused by you at delivery. Please be sure to double check the delivery address.  If an order will need to be reshipped, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping charge. Heist & Co. can only guarantee that your order has been shipped, Heist & Co. will not be responsible if, for whatever reason, your order has been lost or stolen, so please ensure that your shipping address is addressed correctly.

International Orders
International orders generally take 2-4 weeks to arrive and in some instances up to 6 weeks. International delivery depends on how long it will take the package to clear through US customs as well as your country’s customs and postal services. We will declare the full value of your order on customs declaration. Please note that with international packages, your country’s customs may require a fee to be paid for your order to be released. Any and all customs fees will be the buyer’s responsibility. If an order will need to be reshipped, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping charge. Heist & Co. can only guarantee that your order has been shipped, Heist & Co. will not be responsible if, for whatever reason, your order has been lost or stolen, so please ensure that your shipping address is addressed correctly.

Returns and Exchanges
Heist & Co. wants you to be happy with your purchase.

You may return your merchandise, within 10 days of purchase for a full refund if you are unhappy for any reason.  Item(s) must be returned in its original packaging, unopened/unused for a full refund. We do not accept items back that have been opened or used unless the product is damaged or defective. Shipping charges are not refundable. Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased directly from Heist & Co. Items sent as gifts from our website can only be returned by the original sender. All other gift orders can be exchanged by the recipient for identical merchandise in the event that the item arrived damaged.

How to Return Merchandise
US
If you would like to return an unopened/unused item, please follow these instructions:

  1. Contact us at store@heistandco.com.
  2. Indicate a reason for your return.
  3. If your return request is approved, you will be provided an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number and return shipping label. IMPORTANT: Returns without RMA’s will be refused.
  4. Send the returned item(s) to the following address:

International
If you would like to return an unopened/unused item, please follow these instructions:

The buyer is responsible for all shipping & handling fees for items returned to Heist & Co. We do not refund shipping fees. Returns are usually processed within a week of arrival and may take 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

All returned items must be unworn/unused merchandise in its original packaging within 10 days of receipt of purchase. Items that do not meet these criteria or are non-returnable, will be denied.

Refunds
If you need to return a product (see how to return merchandise) a refund will be issued to the same method of payment that you used for the original order. Please note that there will be a $1.50 restocking fee applied to each item returned for a refund. After receiving and inspecting the returned item(s), a refund will then be issued in an amount equal to the product purchase price less any applicable restocking fees and return shipping costs.

We’ll send you an automatic email as soon the refund is successful. Depending on your financial service provider, it may take a few days for the transaction to appear on your statement. We are unable to submit refunds to any payment method other than the one originally used for the order. We cannot offer checks or other forms of reimbursement.

Exchanges
Item(s) approved to be exchanged is dependent on our stock’s availability. Any price difference will be the buyer’s responsibility.
